Dinosaur Bedroom Decor

Let's cut to the chase - this bedroom theme is being created with the thought process that you can use this specific decor and these accessories for ages as young as two and as old as 8 or 9, when they start to take interest in other things. To be honest, at that point in time, the decor will probably be themed around whatever video game they are obsessed with at that current point in life.
I really want to gear this post towards a distinct type of dino theme, where it isn't too young or too old for any certain age within the range I posted above. Having two boys myself who are now considered "older kids", I can safely say even now they like to play with dinosaurs. This is a safe theme you only have to pay for once and then can comfortably use said decor for years before needing to change it.
In regard to colors, there are so many options, especially where the dinosaur concept is involved. It is well known that blue is the color related to relaxation and rest. Mixing pastels and bright colors is the perfect mix to linking fun and sleep at different times of the day.
That being said, we always start with bedding and design around that:

This bedding is both fun and versatile to go several different directions as far as how to decorate around it. Today I am going to focus on my personal favorite options, but you should know that several others are available if you believe in and trust yourself. The colors that most catch my eye from this bedding are the dark blue and the bright orange. It would be super cute to use the dark and light blue as the color scheme, with the orange as the "pop" of color.
Let's start with the matching items you could use:

I found matching light switch covers! They do offer them for all the different types of light switches and designs as well! They even have outlet covers if you want to do those too!

For parents who aren't yet aware or are extremely aware and love them, black out curtains in a child's room are a godsend. These matching dinosaur curtains come in several different lengths and are in fact (drum roll please) black out curtains! Enjoy!

I will always recommend a fluffy rug for any child's room, any age or gender. It really can pull the entire look together while being the perfect comfy spot to play or read.
This specific rug comes in a plethora of really fun colors, many of which match this theme perfectly. The lighter blue is my favorite for this particular room, but they also have grass green (as pictured), as well as dark blue that would come together well. Don't be afraid to play around with all of the differing colors to see what works best for you and your child!
When it comes to lighting, I am thinking a bedside table lamp in one simple color may be best, since much of the decor is patterned. I found this cute dark blue lamp that would be perfect, but once again, they come in every color you see within this theme. It helps add the perfect "pop" to help any certain color stand out. It may be better to match your rug and lamp to the same colors so there isn't too much going on with the room, but when it comes to kids and their preferences, it generally seems to be the motto of "the wilder, the better" in their heads, so do with that info what you will.
There are so many ideas for wall decor that I could not land on any specific one idea, however, I have seen wooden dinosaur signage that comes with 4 dinosaurs in 4 solid colors that would work, along with cute name signs done much the same way. There are always cute designs everywhere to pick dinosaurs from, so I am going to leave that part up to you.
